Ms. Stephanie Schock
I am so excited to be teaching the Pre-K Blended class at Oakview as I begin my 22nd year of teaching preschoolers. I'm originally from Texas and lived there my entire life before moving to NC in the fall of 2012- what an adventure! I taught special education preschool programs in Round Rock/Austin, TX, then full day DD Pre-K at Holly Ridge here in Holly Springs for 3 years, and finally opening the Blended Pre-K class here in 2016. My first group of preschoolers have already graduated college, so time certainly flies when you are having fun! I am looking forward to another great year of progress and partnering with families to help our students be successful as they start their school experiences.
I live in Holly Springs with husband Bill, my daughter Marley "Max" (11th grade), and my stepdaughters, Scarlet (5th grade) and Evelyn (2nd grade). My son Jaxon is 19 and just moved back out to begin his sophomore year Appalachian State University- another big adventure! ❤️ We also have 4 little dogs that keep us laughing. I enjoy reading, hiking, watching movies, vinyl crafting, being outdoors and spending quality time with my family.
Preschool is my heart and I'm thrilled to be working with such wonderful students and families! :)

I am so excited to start another year with the Blended Pre-K Program at Oakview this year! I have been an Oakview Owl for almost as long as it has been open and have loved every minute of it. Working with children is my passion! For the last "many" years I have been a nanny, Preschool Music and Motion Teacher, an ECS TA, and the Blended Pre-K IA. Looking forward to another Owlsome year at Oakview!!

Ms. Catherine "Cassie" Bedwell Being the middle child in a large family, I've been working with children in some capacity for my whole life. If there was a baby that needed holding, I was always the go-to-person-- so it felt only natural to continue that love for little ones into adulthood and become an instructional assistant. I have an A.A.S. in Early Childhood Education from Wake Tech, and I am working on a B.S. in Birth-Kindergarten Education at ECU. I am enjoying my time at Oakview Elementary! I love to be silly and play with our preschoolers, so I hope to make their time here just as awesome and fun as it is for me! I was born in Wake County, but I grew up in Johnston County and I still live there with my cats. When I’m not working, I enjoy hiking, going on picnics, swimming, playing video games, and teaching myself to embroider! |
